In priority order: the first line that applies is the one you press. Hover a spell for what it does.

Ranked by how many of a race's racials touch what this spec does, read out of the game's own wording and out of the weapon its gear list aims for. Those are lit; the number on the right is the count. It is a measure, not a verdict: nothing in the beta has been parsed yet, so anything stronger would be a guess.

Every race's racials, Classic beside Forever.

8 new, 29 rewritten, 2 no longer taught, across the whole class. Every ability, rank by rank.

In the Elemental tree

• Lava BurstElemental gains a Fire nuke that interacts with Flame Shock, giving the tree a hard-hitting button it never had.

Elsewhere in Shaman

• Shamans are no longer Horde-onlyDwarves can play Shaman for the first time, and Horde-aligned Skyborne join the existing roster. This is the largest identity change the class has had since Vanilla.
• Maelstrom WeaponMelee hits reduce the cast time of your next spell, finally connecting Enhancement's melee and casting halves instead of leaving them separate.
• RiptideRestoration gets an instant heal with a heal-over-time attached, widening a toolkit that was almost entirely direct heals in Classic.
• Two-handed weapons are baselineTwo-handed axes and maces no longer cost a talent. Dual wield was not available in the level 38 BlizzCon build.
• Enhancement can tankSpirit Weapons raises threat while Rockbiter is active and lowers it without, and other talents add parry and threat generation. There is no separate tank spec, but the support is deliberate.
• Improved StormstrikeA chance to reset Stormstrike's cooldown on dodge or parry, which pushes further toward defensive melee builds.
• Ghost Wolf indoorsImproved Ghost Wolf makes the form usable indoors, and instant at two points invested.
• Totemic ProjectionA new ability that relocates all of your totems at once.

New abilities

• Totemic ProjectionRelocates your active totems to the specified location.
• RiptideHeals a friendly target for 613 to 678, an additional 575 over 15 sec, and increases the effectiveness of your Chain Heal casts directly on that target by 25%.
• Fire NovaInstantly inflicts 53 to 62 fire damage to enemies within 10 yd of your active Fire totem.
• Call of the ElementsSimultaneously places up to 4 totems specified in the Totem Bar.
• Totemic RecallReturns your totems to the earth, giving you 25% of the mana required to cast each totem destroyed by Totemic Recall.
• Call of the AncestorsSimultaneously places up to 4 totems specified in the Totem Bar. Can call different totems than Call of the Elements.
• Call of the SpiritsSimultaneously places up to 4 totems specified in the Totem Bar. Can call different totems than Call of the Elements or Call of the Ancestors.
• Lava BurstYou hurl molten lava at the target, dealing 164 to 212 Fire damage. If your Flame Shock is on the target, Lava Burst deals 20% increased damage.
