- Use Aspect of the Hawk The hunter takes on the aspects of a hawk, increasing Ranged Attack Power by 20. Only one Aspect can be active at a time.
- Use Trueshot Aura . Increases the Ranged Attack Power of party members within 45 yards by 40. Lasts 30 min.
- Maintain Hunter's Mark . Places the Hunter's Mark on the target, increasing the Ranged Attack Power of all attackers against that target by 26. In addition, the target of this ability can always be seen by the hunter whether it stealths or turns invisible. The target also appears on the mini-map. Lasts for 2 min.
- Use Rapid Fire , Bestial Wrath , and any on-use effects. Increases ranged and melee attack speed by 40% for 15 sec.
- Use Intimidation . Command your pet to Stun the target for 3 sec on its next successful attack, which also gains 100% increased critical strike chance. Generates high threat.
- Maintain Serpent Sting . Stings the target, causing 10 Nature damage over 15 sec. Only one Sting per Hunter can be active on any one target.
- Use Summon Hawk if less than two are active. Command a hawk to dive-bomb your targeted enemy, dealing X Physical damage and continuing its assault for 18 sec. Only 2 hawks can be active at once. Summon Hawk shares its cooldown with Arcane Shot.
- Use Aimed Shot . An aimed shot that increases ranged damage by 34. Aimed Shot shares its cooldown with Multi-Shot.
- Use Auto Shot . Automatically shoots the target until cancelled.
- Use Aspect of the Hawk The hunter takes on the aspects of a hawk, increasing Ranged Attack Power by 20. Only one Aspect can be active at a time.

What Forever changed

- Traps can be set in combatThe single biggest quality-of-life change to the class. Classic required you to drop combat first.
- Lone WolfMarksmanship can give up the pet for a personal damage bonus, which removes pet management from the spec entirely.
- Modern pet controlPet stances and commands work the way they do in later expansions rather than Classic's clumsier version.
- Survival meleeStrider Kick and Lacerating Strikes give the tree melee tools instead of leaving it a pure utility pick.
- Damage over time can critSerpent Sting and Explosive Trap benefit, which matters most for Survival.
New abilities
An X stands where the client would put a number it works out from your own character. The source publishes the formula rather than the value, so it is left as X rather than guessed at.
- Aspect of the ViperThe hunter takes on the aspect of the viper, causing your ranged and melee auto attacks to regenerate mana but reducing your total damage done by 10%. In addition, you gain 10% of maximum mana every 3 sec. Mana gained is based on the speed of your weapon. Only one Aspect can be active at a time.
- Summon HawkCommand a hawk to dive-bomb your targeted enemy, dealing X Physical damage and continuing its assault for 18 sec. Only 2 hawks can be active at once. Summon Hawk shares its cooldown with Arcane Shot.
- Aspect of the FalconThe hunter takes on the aspects of a Falcon, increasing melee and ranged Attack Power by the same amount as their highest rank of Aspect of the Hawk. While Aspect of the Falcon is active, the Improved Aspect of the Hawk talent can now proc from and benefit melee attacks. Only one Aspect can be active at a time.
- Heart of the LionThe hunter invokes the heart of a lion, increasing total stats by 10% and Attack Power by 280 for all nearby allies, and increasing total stats for the Hunter by an additional 10%.
- LacerateWounds the target causing them to bleed for 147 damage over 21 sec.
- Enchanted FlareExposes all hidden and invisible enemies within 10 yards of the targeted area, and staves off magical darkness for 30 sec.
- Sniper ShotA steady snipe that increases ranged damage by 225.
